SHACMAN Wrecker Truck is a specialized road-rescue and vehicle-recovery truck designed for towing, loading, transporting and recovering passenger vehicles, SUVs, vans, pickups, light trucks, medium trucks and other commercial vehicles. The vehicle combines a durable SHACMAN commercial chassis with a hydraulic sliding flatbed, telescopic wheel-lift underlift, hydraulic winch, reinforced recovery subframe and hydraulic control system, allowing damaged, disabled or accident vehicles to be safely loaded and transported. Different SHACMAN chassis platforms can be configured for light- and medium-duty recovery applications. L3000-based configurations provide good maneuverability for urban roadside rescue and commercial-vehicle recovery, while F3000-based 4×2 chassis provide greater axle capacity and stronger chassis construction for heavier recovery applications. SHACMAN's L3000 4×2 platform supports up to 285PS, while F3000 4×2 platforms are available with heavy-duty Weichai or Cummins powertrains and MAN-technology axles. Common recovery configurations include approximately 180HP, 240HP, 280HP and 340HP engines with 5T, 8T, 10T and 12T recovery platforms. The hydraulic flatbed can slide backward and tilt toward the road surface to provide a low loading angle, while the hydraulic winch pulls disabled vehicles onto the platform. The rear telescopic underlift can lift the front or rear axle of another vehicle for wheel-lift towing, allowing flatbed transport and towing functions to be combined in one vehicle.
