SHACMAN Garbage Compactor Truck is a specialized municipal sanitation vehicle designed for the collection, compression and transportation of household waste, commercial refuse and municipal solid waste. The vehicle combines a durable SHACMAN commercial chassis with a sealed garbage body, rear loading hopper, hydraulic sliding plate, scraper compression mechanism, ejector plate, bin lifting system, sewage collection tank and electro-hydraulic control system. Different SHACMAN chassis platforms can be configured for medium- and heavy-duty sanitation applications. L3000-based 4×2 configurations provide good maneuverability for urban streets, residential communities and municipal collection routes, while F3000-based 6×4 configurations provide higher load capacity for larger garbage bodies and high-volume waste-transfer applications. SHACMAN's L3000 platform supports municipal sanitation applications and approximately 180–285PS engine configurations, while the F3000 platform is designed for heavier engineering and high-load operation. Garbage-body capacities of approximately 8CBM, 10CBM, 12CBM, 16CBM and 20CBM can be configured according to chassis size and waste-collection requirements. The rear-loading hydraulic compression system transfers loose waste from the loading hopper into the sealed body and compresses it to increase effective loading capacity. Hydraulic ejector unloading allows compacted waste to be discharged directly at transfer stations, landfills or waste-treatment facilities without tipping the entire garbage body.
