HOWO Wrecker Truck is a specialized road-rescue and vehicle-recovery truck designed for towing, lifting, transporting and recovering passenger vehicles, SUVs, vans, light trucks and medium commercial vehicles. The vehicle combines a reliable SINOTRUK HOWO chassis with a hydraulic sliding flatbed, wheel-lift underlift system, hydraulic winch, reinforced subframe and electro-hydraulic control system, allowing damaged or disabled vehicles to be safely loaded, lifted and transported. Different HOWO chassis configurations are available for light- and medium-duty recovery applications. Common 4×2 platforms can be configured with approximately 115HP, 160HP and 300HP diesel engines according to chassis size and recovery requirements. A representative HOWO 4×2 towing truck uses a 3,800mm wheelbase, 5,560×2,280mm flatbed, 3,000kg flatbed payload, 1,500kg maximum under-pulling capacity and 4-ton hydraulic winch. The hydraulic flatbed can slide backward and tilt toward the ground to provide a low loading angle, while the winch pulls a disabled vehicle onto the platform. The rear wheel-lift system can raise one axle of another vehicle for short- or medium-distance towing. Flatbed-only, flatbed-with-underlift and one-to-two recovery configurations can be selected according to operating requirements.
