HOWO Heavy Duty Recovery Truck is a specialized heavy vehicle designed for towing, lifting, pulling and recovering heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, buses, construction vehicles, dump trucks and other large commercial vehicles. It combines a heavy-duty SINOTRUK HOWO chassis with a reinforced recovery boom, telescopic underlift, hydraulic winches, rear stabilizers, hydraulic control system and professional towing accessories for roadside rescue and accident-recovery operations. The HOWO heavy-duty recovery platform can be configured with 6×4 or 8×4 chassis layouts and approximately 336HP, 371HP, 380HP, 400HP and 430HP diesel engines. HOWO heavy-duty chassis use high-strength steel frames, HW-series transmissions and heavy-duty drive axles designed for high-load operation. Different recovery superstructures are available for approximately 20T, 25T, 30T, 40T and 50T recovery applications. A representative HOWO 6×4 heavy wrecker uses an 18-ton maximum boom lifting capacity, approximately 11-ton initial underlift capacity, 24-ton rated towing mass and dual 100kN winches, while larger 8×4 rotator configurations can provide substantially higher lifting, pulling and towing performance for severe heavy-recovery operations.
