HOWO Commander 4×2 dropside cargo truck is a light-duty commercial truck designed for urban distribution, intercity logistics, agricultural products, building materials, wholesale goods and general cargo transportation. The open dropside cargo body allows loading and unloading from the rear and both sides, making it suitable for high-frequency commercial transportation. The HOWO Commander series is positioned above basic light-duty models, with a wider cab, higher-power engine options and configurations suitable for both urban distribution and medium-distance logistics. Representative models include 130HP, 140HP, 160HP and 170HP versions. Earlier Commander trucks are also available with 141HP, 154HP and 168HP configurations. Modern Commander configurations can use Weichai WP2.3N / WP2.5N engines together with 6-speed or 8-speed transmissions. The 170HP WP2.5N version produces up to 500N·m of torque, while automatic-transmission configurations are also available on selected models.
