Dongfeng Road Sweeper Truck is a specialized municipal sanitation vehicle designed for urban street cleaning, highway maintenance, industrial-area cleaning, dust collection, sand removal, leaf collection and general road-surface sanitation. The vehicle combines a reliable Dongfeng commercial chassis with hydraulic sweeping brushes, a vacuum suction system, water-spray dust suppression, debris tank, clean-water tank, hydraulic system and auxiliary power system to complete sweeping, suction and dust-control operations in a single working process. The Dongfeng road sweeper platform is available in light-duty and medium-duty configurations for different road widths, cleaning workloads and operating environments. Common chassis power options range from approximately 95HP to 190HP, with larger configurations also available. Different wheelbases, tank capacities and upper-body systems can be selected according to project requirements. Representative Dongfeng sweepers use 4×2 chassis and offer both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive configurations. The sweeping system normally uses hydraulically driven side brushes to move dust, sand, leaves, stones and small road debris toward the suction nozzle. A centrifugal vacuum fan collects the material into the debris tank, while water-spray nozzles around the brushes reduce airborne dust. Depending on the configuration, the vehicle can also be equipped with an independent auxiliary diesel engine, high-pressure road washing system, rear spray system and hydraulically tipping debris tank for more efficient municipal cleaning operations.
