Dongfeng Garbage Compactor Truck is a specialized municipal sanitation vehicle designed for the collection, compression and transportation of household waste, commercial refuse and municipal solid waste. The vehicle combines a reliable Dongfeng commercial chassis with a sealed garbage body, rear loading hopper, hydraulic compression system, sliding plate, scraper, ejector plate, bin lifting mechanism, sewage collection system and electro-hydraulic control system. Different Dongfeng chassis platforms are available for light-, medium- and heavy-duty waste collection. Common configurations include approximately 120HP, 140HP, 170HP, 200HP and 270HP diesel engines, with garbage-body capacities ranging from approximately 5CBM to 20CBM. Representative Dongfeng D7 configurations use 120HP engines with 5–6CBM bodies, medium-duty versions can use approximately 170–200HP engines with 10–13CBM bodies, while heavy-duty three-axle versions are available with 270HP engines and approximately 20CBM garbage bodies. The rear-loading compression system uses hydraulically driven sliding plates and scrapers to move waste from the loading hopper into the sealed garbage body and compress it to reduce volume. Automatic, semi-automatic and manual operating modes are available according to the control system. Hydraulic ejector plates unload the compacted waste at transfer stations, landfills or treatment facilities without tipping the entire garbage body. The truck can be equipped with hydraulic lifting mechanisms compatible with common municipal waste bins, while sealed body construction and an integrated sewage tank help control wastewater and reduce secondary pollution during collection and transportation. Different loading mechanisms, body capacities and hydraulic systems can be selected according to municipal sanitation requirements.
